The Inner South is where the near-new, the prestige and the genuinely expensive cars live. Forrest driveways with a covered Porsche, Red Hill garages with two SUVs and something under a cover, Kingston Foreshore basements full of Teslas and AMGs. This is protection work, ceramic coatings, paint correction, keeping a $150,000 car looking like it did the day it left the dealer.
It also suits people who are simply too time-poor to lose a Saturday to washing the car. We book in around your calendar and leave when the car looks better than it did new.
When you're spending six figures on a car, the maths on paint protection changes. A ceramic coating that runs a fraction of a percent of the car's value pays for itself the first time it stops a bird dropping etching into the clear coat, or the first time a resale valuation comes in higher because the finish is still perfect. That's the conversation we have with most Inner South clients, it's not about making the car shiny for a weekend, it's about protecting the investment for the next three to five years.
Paint correction is the other pillar of what we do down here. Most near-new prestige cars come off the dealer lot with holograms and swirl marks already baked in, Canberra dealer prep is aggressive, and the polishing they do to make a car "pop" for handover often leaves damage the customer doesn't notice for a month or two under different light. We machine-polish those defects out properly, on a purpose-built rotary and orbital setup, then follow it with a ceramic coating so it doesn't happen again the first time the car goes through a service wash.
The Inner South customer is usually time-poor before they're price-sensitive. We hear the same thing from Kingston lawyers, Barton public servants and Griffith consultants: "I can afford it, I just don't have a Saturday to spend on it." Our booking works around that. We come to you, often at 8am before a meeting, or across a workday while the car sits in a Manuka office bay, and you don't have to think about it again for months. For ceramic-coated cars we run a light maintenance wash every 8–12 weeks that keeps the coating topped up and the paint looking as sharp as the day we finished it.
One practical note for the Kingston Foreshore and the newer Griffith apartments: ceramic coating specifically has to be done in a covered, dry, dust-free space. That's not a marketing requirement, it's chemistry, the coating needs 24 hours minimum to cure without wind, rain or grit landing on it. Most of the Foreshore basement parking works fine. Rooftop uncovered parking doesn't. If you're not sure, send us a photo of the bay and we'll tell you straight up whether we can coat there or whether we'd rather move the car to a garage for the day. Every other service, full details, interior deep cleans, exterior refresh , we do straight where the car normally sits.
Discretion matters down here too. We don't post number plates, we don't tag address or building names, and if you'd rather we don't photograph the car at all, just tell us. Most of our long-term Inner South clients came to us through direct referral from other owners in the same building or street, and we like to keep that trust.

Can you coat a car at a Kingston Foreshore apartment?+
Ceramic coating specifically needs a covered, dry space, the coating has to cure without wind, rain or dust getting on the panels. If your Kingston Foreshore building has a lock-up garage or a covered basement bay, that works. If it's uncovered rooftop parking, we'll need to move the car to a garage for the coating day. Every other service, full details, interior, exterior, we do straight in the visitor bay or driveway with no issue.
Do you take on high-end European cars, AMG, Porsche, RS models?+
Yes, that's a lot of what we do down here. Inner South garages are full of them. We're careful about pad and compound selection on soft German clear coats, and we always do a test spot before touching the rest of the panel.
