We start by dry-vacuuming the entire interior, seats, carpets, boot, headliner, air vents, seatbelt wells and the little slot between the seat and the console where coins and Lego live. Then we hit the hard surfaces with steam: dashboard, doors, console, cupholders, steering wheel, buttons. Steam melts through sticky residues and kills bacteria without soaking the electronics.
Fabric seats and carpets get a hot-water extraction. We spray a fabric-safe pre-treatment onto stained areas, agitate with a soft brush, then extract with a purpose-built machine that pulls the dirty water back out of the weave. That's how you get proper stain removal, not just wetting the top layer. Leather is cleaned with a pH-balanced leather cleaner and then conditioned so it stays supple instead of cracking in Canberra winters.
Odours get treated at the source. If it's a spilled drink, we extract the padding. If it's a general "kid car" smell, we steam-clean the vents and headliner where odour molecules cling. We finish with a light neutral deodoriser, never a heavy perfumed spray that just covers the problem.

Common questions
Can you actually get out set-in stains, milk spills and pet hair?+
Most of the time, yes. We use hot-water extraction for cloth seats and carpets, dedicated enzyme cleaners for organic stains like milk, vomit and food, and rubber pet-hair tools that pull embedded fur out of the weave. If a stain is truly permanent (bleach damage, dye transfer, sun-baked ink) we'll tell you up front rather than promising the impossible.
Will the car smell of chemicals when I get it back?+
No. We use low-odour cleaners and finish with a light neutral scent, no fake cherry or pine. The car should smell clean, not like an air freshener. If you'd prefer no scent at all, just let us know.
Are the products safe for kids and pets?+
Yes. Everything we use inside is water-based, non-toxic once dry, and safe for child seats, baby capsules and pet beds. Steam cleaning also kills bacteria and dust mites without adding chemicals to the fabric.
